BackupGuard is a WordPress Plugin that is used to easily backs up, restore, and migrate your WordPress site, files, and databases. It was founded in 2015 and is headquartered in Armenia.
It had published a lifetime deal on Appsumo. Also had good reviews and ratings on review platforms like Capterra, G2, and Crunchbase.
But unfortunately, they have rebranded themselves as JetBackup. Changed its plans and told its users that the “Legacy license” will remain the same, but it won’t provide product updates and technical support. Hence all websites running the plugin will likely either end up having compatibility and/or security issues. Alternatively, they asked customers to purchase a JetBackup WP Pro license which will continue to receive the latest software updates/developments and covers up to 30 websites per license.
